Terms & Conditions

1. By making a booking for an Edge Rugby camp or activity on behalf of a named participant you confirm that:

• you are the parent or carer responsible for the named participant;

• you consent to the named participant taking part in the rugby clinic on the terms set out in these Terms and Conditions.

2. Your booking is not confirmed until you receive an email from Edge Rugby confirming the named participant’s place on a clinic. Edge Rugby reserves the right to limit and alter numbers on any particular camp. In the event that your payment is processed and we are unable to confirm the named participant’s place, we will contact you and endeavour to accommodate the participant on the next available camp or, at your option, refund your payment in full.

3. Edge Rugby holds full public liability insurance. However, you acknowledge that rugby carries an inherent risk of injury, including serious injury, and that not all risk can be eliminated. Edge Rugby will take all reasonable steps to minimise risk, but our insurance does not cover inherent risks or customer negligence. Parents accept that no claim may be made against Edge Rugby or its coaches except where Edge Rugby is negligent. We do not accept liability for personal injury to any participant or spectator except where required by law.

4. Parents authorise the coaches, acting in loco parentis, to make decisions in good faith that safeguard and promote the welfare of the participant. Parents consent to appropriate physical contact for coaching, comfort, safety, and maintaining good order. Parents also consent to emergency medical treatment, including anaesthetic or surgery, where a qualified medical professional deems it necessary and a parent/guardian cannot be contacted in time.

5. Conduct

We reserve the right to remove any participant from a camp at our discretion (for example, due to disruptive behaviour). No refund will be issued, and any additional costs incurred will be the responsibility of the parent/carer.

6. By booking an Edge Rugby camp, parents/carers confirm that, to the best of their knowledge, the participant is medically fit to take part. Any medication is the responsibility of the participant and parent/carer. It is essential that all medical and dietary information is accurate and up to date. Any changes must be provided in writing prior to attendance.

7. Mouthguards must be worn at all times during coaching activities.

8. All personal belongings remain the responsibility of the participant. Edge Rugby accepts no liability for loss, damage, or theft of personal property, or for any losses arising from circumstances beyond our control.

9. Full payment must be made prior to the start of the camp.

10. We may use the contact details you provide for administrative purposes and occasional communication about future activities. If you wish to opt out, please contact us via email.

11. We process personal data only for legitimate purposes to improve our services. We will never sell your data and will keep it secure.

12. By providing personal information, you agree that Edge Rugby is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use or misuse of that information, except where required by law.

13. Unless you notify Edge Rugby otherwise, you consent to photographs or videos taken during camps being used for promotional purposes.

14. Edge Rugby reserves the right to cancel, alter, or amend camp dates or venues. If a participant cannot attend a rescheduled camp, a full refund will be provided. If changes occur during a camp, a partial refund may be issued.

15. The Edge Rugby website uses cookies for statistical analysis (e.g. Google Analytics).

Refund Policy

1. Cancellations must be made by email within 14 days of booking to receive a full refund. After this period, but more than 10 days before the camp start date, you may choose either:

• a 50% refund; or

• transfer to a future camp.

2. Cancellations made 10 days or less before the camp, or during the camp, are non-refundable unless due to injury or illness. In such cases, participants may either:

• attend a future camp to make up missed days; or

• receive a partial refund for missed days.

3. If a camp is cancelled by Edge Rugby, a full or partial refund (depending on timing) will be issued.
